Capturing the Magic of Christmas: Highlights from My Christmas Mini Photoshoots ๐ŸŽ„

With just two weeks left until Christmas Eve, the festive spirit is in full swing! On Saturday, November 2nd, I had the pleasure of welcoming so many wonderful families into my studio for my annual Christmas Mini Photoshoots. The studio was alive with laughter, smiles, and the unmistakable excitement that comes with the holiday season. Scroll down for taster of the photos captured.

This year, I kept the setup simple and classicโ€”a timeless green Christmas wreath against a neutral white background. It was the perfect canvas for families to shine, whether it was festive tartans, Velvet dresses, cosy knits, or soft neutrals everyone had something that complimented the setting beautifully. I also loved how so many brought along some extra special props of your own which added a personal touch to your sessions.

Thereโ€™s something so magical about giving the gift of memories. Whether itโ€™s a framed photo of your little oneโ€™s cheeky grin, a heartfelt family portrait, or even a playful sibling shot, photographs are gifts that last forever. Theyโ€™re personal, thoughtful, and bring so much joy to those who receive them.

Many of you mentioned how excited you were to use your gallery selections for Christmas cards this year. A custom card featuring your family adds such a personal touch and is something that loved ones will treasure. I have created a special christmas card every year for my own family featuring my own three children every year since they were tiny.
This tradition still hasn’t stopped for me, though I have to say that it is getting increasingly trickier to get them all willing and in one place at the same time nowadays to take the photos. These cards are a welcome blessing to my older relatives spread around the country (and world) and something they thoroughly look forward to recieving each Christmas.

Thank you to all the families who came by and trusted me to capture these precious moments. Watching your little ones jingling the bells, seeing siblings giggle together, and capturing the quiet moments of love and connection was such an honour.

If you missed this yearโ€™s Christmas minis, donโ€™t worry – thereโ€™s always next year! And for those still looking for last-minute gifts, why not consider booking a session in the new year or giving a gift voucher? Photos are timeless treasures that never go out of style.

As we countdown to Christmas Eve, I hope your homes are filled with joy, laughter, and love. Whether youโ€™re using your images for cards, gifts, or simply to treasure, Iโ€™m so happy to have played a small part in your celebrations.

Stay tuned for more sessions in the new year, and until then, donโ€™t miss the moments – capture them!

With love and festive cheer,
Marie ๐ŸŽ…๐Ÿ“ธ
